First of all in nature, symmetry is one of the traits for determining attractiveness. For example animals that need to run to escape from predators. If they are symmetrical they are faster and therefore increases the rate of survival. Animals look for mates that have strong genes of survival so they would choose a symmetrical mate rather than one that is not.
It is basically the same with us humans. We tend to like things that are symmetrical. For instance look the pictures of all the celebrities or of the stars that people consider beautiful or attractive. You will find that most of them have symmetrical faces. Now the question is do you have a symmetrical face. There are some ways to check if you don’t.
When you eat do you chew your food on one side of your mouth?
When you open your mouth wide and close it does your jaw make a sound?
When you plug your ears with your fingers and open and close your mouth do you feel pressure on your fingertips?
If any of these apply to you then you might not have a symmetrical face.
Now the question is how to get one.
The method is simple yet hard. All you have to do is chew on the side that you normally don’t. Simple right? Well try it first. You will tend to automatically let the food go to the side that you are comfortable with. With lots of effort you can see some results in a month.
The force of your bite is pretty strong. The maximum on average for males is roughly 120 lbs of force and 80 for females. When working out you use weights to make your muscles grow. Well this works in the same way. Think about it. When you take off your leg cast after a month, you can see that the leg has shrunk. Well if you took an x-ray you will see that the bone in you leg has also shrunk a little.
Another reason why people don’t look as attractive is because of their smile. Most people these days don’t smile. I don’t know what it is but people have this blank face on throughout most of the day. The muscles aren’t worked out enough and will make it feel awkward to smile.
Try smiling really wide and stay like that for more than 10 seconds. Can you do it? If you can’t your muscles aren’t being worked out enough. This means you can improve on your smile. Just start moving your facial muscles everyday and you will probably see an improvement in a month.
With these methods you can get a nice symmetrical face, which is better than one that is not.
But of course there’s a limit to how much this can all do for you. I mean you were born to look a certain way and you can’t change that naturally, but you can try to look the best you can with the looks you were born with.
